Today, Emrullah Güvenç signed a two-year contract with Royal Antwerp F.C. Last season, the midfielder of Helmond Sport scored 19 goals in the Dutch Jupiler League and was nominated for the award of “Player of the Year”. Although he just missed the award, his outstanding performance was nonetheless remarked by F.C. Antwerp coach and Dutch ex-international Jerrel Hasselbaink. By attracting inter alia Jerrel Hasselbaink and Emrullah Güvenç this summer, F.C. Antwerp underlines its ambition to play for the championship next season.
